Extortion
is an optional mini game that you can preform in True Crime New York City. To extort people you first must be in a Clothes store, Fast food or other store. By simply walking up to the store clerk and hold them up, and persuading them to pay up protection. This is just like interogating people. If the bar goes to high or low, you will fail. But once you've aquired three marks in the middle. You have sucessfully extorted dirty money from a store.
Take note that extortion is extremly illegal and will result in bad-cop points, so only do this if you don't care about
reputation. On the other hand, extortion is a great way to make a few extra bucks on the side, and will make any health restoration food be paied by itself. Once Marcus has completed the extortion he will get a small wanted level. But it is low enough to not care about.
